Last week Metaporta hosted the Merantix AI Campus Basel, in the green courtyard of the Switzerland Innovation Park Basel Area Main Campus. Cedric Berger, Sigourney Waibel and Nicole Büttner had an interesting discussion and shared their insights on AI in drug discovery & development. AI offers a lot of potential, for example, to significantly shorten the time of drug development. It became clear that it goes way beyond ChatGPT. Ultimately, however, this only works as well as the data required for it allows. And the human creativity that these processes require will not be replaced by AI either...
